Boulder, Colo. ? Lindsay Ralph’s second-half goal lifted Colorado to a 1-0 Big 12 Conference soccer victory against Kansas University on Sunday at Prentup Field.
The Buffaloes scored with 39 minutes remaining. KU’s freshman goalkeeper Julie Hanley made the initial save on a shot by Fran Munnelly. The rebound deflected to Ralph, who notched her first goal of the season from six yards out.
Hanley recorded a career-high eight saves, but was saddled with her first loss of the season as a starter.
KU (8-6-2 overall, 4-3-1 Big 12) will play host Friday to Colorado College, then entertain Texas on Sunday.
