Kansas University senior forward Jessica Smith added another individual honor this week when she was named Wednesday to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week.
Tuesday, Smith was named Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
The Wichita native scored four goals last weekend, including a hat trick, in leading KU to victories over Oklahoma State and No. 21 Oklahoma. Her hat trick against OSU was the sixth in Kansas soccer history.
Kansas will travel Friday to Lubbock, Texas, to face Texas Tech. Game time is 7 p.m.
