Jayhawks surprised with NCAA bid

The Kansas volleyball team finished the Big 12 season in eighth place with a record of 7-13 and an overall record of 15-14. Those numbers were good enough to get the Jayhawks a first round date with UCLA in the NCAA tournament on Friday. But after losing 11 of their last 14 matches, the Jayhawks said they were surprised about getting an NCAA berth.
