Junior Benson Chesang will be leading the KU men’s cross country team at the NCAA Championships on Monday. Chesang, the two-time Big 12 champion, says he has been looking forward to this since his freshman year.

Benson Chesang, the sophomore runner from Kenya, will be the only Jayhawk who will run in the NCAA Cross Country championships on Monday. Chesang earned his spot by placing sixth at regionals in Emporia, Ill. last week.
