Kalamazoo, Mich. ? The Kansas University tennis team finished 1-5 in singles play and 2-6 in doubles action Saturday during the second day of the Western Michigan University Super Challenge.
Brittany Brown earned the lone point in singles with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Western Michigan’s Kerstin-Beeke Pahl.
In doubles, KU’s Elizaveta Avdeeva and Ksenia Bukina beat Western Michigan’s Rattiya Hiranrat and Malena Remynse, 8-2. Also picking up a point was the team of Brown and Christine Skoda, who beat Western Michigan’s Reedhina Parekh and Noriko Saruta, 8-3.
