Daniel Deane, a 6-foot-8 high school senior-to-be from Salt Lake City, who visited Kansas University two weeks ago, made a trip to Gonzaga last weekend.
The 225-pound power forward, who also visited Stanford in early May, tells rivals.com he is not ready to orally commit to a school.
He will make an unofficial visit to Utah in two weeks and likely visit UCLA in the fall.
“I want to get the chance to spend time with the guys at Utah as I don’t know them very much,” Deane told rivals.com. “I want to get up to the campus and play basketball with the guys on the team.”
He said he has no leader at this time, but still has KU high on his list.
