Erika Simington, a catcher from Scottsdale, Ariz., has signed a softball letter of intent with Kansas University, coach Tracy Bunge announced.
Simington is hitting .466 with six home runs in her senior season and has earned first-team all-state honors at Chapparal High.
Last fall, Bunge announced the signings of Val Chapple of Olathe East, and Stevie Crisosto of Palo Cedro, Calif.
