Kansas University junior outfielder A.J. Van Slyke has been selected the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week. Van Slyke batted .556 with a 5-for-9 week, two home runs and six RBIs with a slugging percentage of 1.333 against Northern Colorado. His homers were a grand slam and a walk-off in the bottom of the 11th of Sunday's 9-8 win.
