Salina ? Kansas University signee Shaqina Mosley scored 18 points and had 10 assists, leading Central Arizona to an 83-50 rout of College of Southern Idaho in the NJCAA women’s basketball tournament championship game Saturday night at the Bicentennial Center.
Mosley shared the tourney most-valuable-player award with teammate Aisha Mohammed. Earlier in the week, Mosley had been named NJCAA player of the year by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Assn. The Vaqueras finished with a 35-1 record.
