Kansas University senior Keith Langford practiced twice Thursday and believes he will play Friday against Bucknell.
“In my opinion, if you ask me, it’s 100 percent I’ll play,” said Langford, who had no stomach problems Thursday and reported that his bruised left ankle was feeling fine.
“The doctors and trainers are going through some what-ifs and we’ll see how I do tomorrow, but I expect to play,” Langford added.
Head coach Bill Self said Langford had made a remarkable recovery, adding that he would not start Langford but would not be surprised if he could lay, barring any unforseen stomach setbacks.
Langford reiterated that his stomach problem was an inability to keep food down. He laughed at rumors that he had kidney stones, saying it was the flu bug.
