Kansas University sophomore diver Jenny Roberts, after a strong 2004-05 season, has qualified to compete at the NCAA Zone D Regional meet on March 11-13 in College Station, Texas.

Roberts qualified on the one-meter board thanks to a first-place finish Jan. 28 at Drury University in Springfield, Mo., where she scored 274.50 points. Roberts, a Chesterfield, Mo., native, will compete in the one-meter, three-meter and platform competitions at the Zone D meet for a chance to qualify to compete in the NCAA Finals on March 17-19 at Boilermaker Aquatic Center in West Lafayette, Ind.

“I am very proud of the way our divers competed this year,” KU diving coach Eric Elliott said. “Jenny has had a great attitude and positive work ethic all season, which has really paid off.”
