KU women’s lacrosse hammers Tulsa, 18-3

Kansas University’s women’s lacrosse club beat Tulsa, 18-3, Sunday at Shenk Field.

Lisa Allen and Sarah Fiske each had four goals and an assist in the first half. Emily Ratzlaff and Celie Wall each tallied two goals on two shots.

Laura Swick also scored two goals, while Michelle Archambault, Stacey Seglem, Maddie Meyers and Malorie Hebert scored a goal each. Seglem notched KU’s third assist of the day. Katie Byrd made nine saves.

KU (6-2) will travel Saturday to Lincoln, Neb.

KU women’s lacrosse drops pair in Missouri

? Illinois stopped Kansas University’s women’s lacrosse team, 19-7, Saturday.

Lindsey Johnson scored four goals for KU. Lisa Allen had two goals and an assist. Sarah Fiske scored the other goal.

Also Saturday, Minnesota-Duluth posted an 11-10 victory over KU. Johnson had six goals in that game while Allen and Fiske scored two apiece. Kansas (2-4) will play in the Central Plains championships April 2 in Shawnee.
