Cedar Rapids, Iowa ? Kansas University’s tennis squad fell flat Sunday in a 7-0 loss to Iowa at Clark Racquet Center.
The loss dropped the Jayhawks’ record to 2-8.
KU didn’t win a singles or doubles match. The closest the Jayhawks came to a victory was at No. 1 singles, where freshman Elizaveta Avdeeva lost a third-set tiebreaker to Iowa’s Meg Racette, 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (7).
KU will return to action at noon Saturday when the Jayhawks play host to Nebraska at Robinson Courts.
