Ex-Jayhawk Miles solid in summer debut

Former Kansas University point guard Aaron Miles contributed three points, four assists and three rebounds for the New York Knicks in his first summer-league game, a 93-89 Knicks loss to the Portland Trailblazers.

Miles played 15 minutes — eighth-most on the squad — shooting 1-of-3 from the field and committing just one turnover.

Former Washington standout Nate Robinson led the Knicks with 20 points.
