Gruber helps Jayhawk swimmers stomp Drury

? Kansas University’s swimming and diving team topped Drury, 144-86, Friday, grabbing victories in 10 of the dual’s 13 events.

Senior Amy Gruber led the Jayhawks, winning both the 100 and 200 freestyle races. Gruber also helped earn KU’s first-place finish in the 200 medley relay.

Elsewhere, sophomores Shelby Noonan and Jenny Roberts tied for first in one-meter diving, and Roberts’ score of 274.50 qualified her for the NCAA Zone Diving meet in March. Noonan already had qualified.

Lindsey Urbatchka, Miranda Isaac, Gina Gnatzig and Terri Schramka also recorded individual victories.

KU will return to action at 1 p.m today with a dual at Arkansas.
