Through four halves of play, Nebraska trails Kansas by 63. On January 21, at Allen Fieldhouse KU hammered NU by 42. Last night the Huskers managed to cut that margin in half at the Devaney Sports Center. Brandon Rush struggled, but Mario Chalmers and Jeff Hawkins did not.

The last time Kansas and Nebraska met at Allen Fieldhouse, Nebraska’s Corey Simms had the chance to win the game in the final seconds but was unable to knock out the three-pointer needed for the win. Now the Huskers are looking for payback and this time the meeting will be on Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
