The Kansas women’s basketball team is still undefeated with the help of senior Crystal Kemp. The media recognized Kemp’s efforts Monday by naming her the Big 12 player of the week. This is the first time since 2000 that a KU women’s basketball player has received this honor.

Senior Crystal Kemp led the Jayhawks to a 90-65 victory Sunday over Pittsburg State. Kemp scored 24 points on 11-of-18 shooting. The Topeka native says her teammates’ shooting contributed to their success.
