Brandon Rush, a 6’6″ guard from Kansas City, completed his campus visit to Kansas University this afternoon.

Rush said he has eliminated Illinois from his list of schools and now is down to KU and Indiana.

“I had a great time on my visit,” Rush told the Journal-World, indicating he had not yet given a verbal commitment. “The visit went real well. I probably won’t decide for two more days.”

Rush told Wichita television reporter James Sido, formerly of Channel 6, he had spoken to KU coach Bill Self about the fact he had not been academically cleared to play by the NCAA Clearinghouse. “Because my Clearinghouse stuff is not in, I’d have to enroll after Thursday if I decide to go to KU.”

Rush told KAKE, “The biggest factor is that I want to play close to home. I just want to play close to home.”
