Lubbock, Texas ? A steady rain in the West Texas region forced Sunday’s baseball series finale between Kansas University and Texas Tech to be canceled.
The Red Raiders captured Friday’s series opener, 9-7, but the Jayhawks recovered to post a 13-7 victory Saturday.
Kansas (25-20, 4-10 Big 12 Conference) will be back in action this week in the Best of the Midwest Tournament at T-Bones Community America Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan.
KU will face New Mexico State at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Sacramento State at noon Wednesday.
