Kansas University baseball coach Ritch Price and softball coach Tracy Bunge will lead off the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce Breakfast of Champions Series.
Price, Bunge and selected athletes from their sports will be on hand at 7:30 a.m. Friday at the Hereford House in the series sponsored by Intrust Bank and Crown Chevrolet-Toyota.
Football coach Mark Mangino, soccer coach Mark Francis, volleyball coach Ray Bechard, women’s basketball coach Bonnie Henrickson and men’s basketball coach Bill Self also will be featured.
Mangino will appear June 14, Francis and Bechard Aug. 31 and Henrickson Oct. 12. No date has been set for Self’s appearance.
The cost for each breakfast program is $13 for pre-registration and $15 at the door. The event is open to the public. Attendees can pre-register online at lawrencechamber.com or by contacting Naomi Clock at 865-4420.
