Former Kansas University quarterback Mike Bohn will become Colorado University’s next athletic director, the Boulder (Colo.) Daily Camera reported Monday.

Bohn, who graduated from Boulder High, has worked in athletic administration at the Air Force Academy, the College Football Assn., Colorado State, Idaho and San Diego State, where he currently is athletic director.

School officials reached an agreement on a five-year contract with Bohn late Sunday afternoon, the Boulder paper reported. Bohn was a candidate for the KU athletic-director’s job after Bob Frederick retired in 2001, but the job went to Al Bohl.
