Kansas University senior goalkeeper Meghan Miller was selected as the Big 12 Conference Soccer Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after logging a pair of shutouts in KU’s 2-0 victory Saturday at UNLV and 1-0 win Monday at Brigham Young.
The Seattle native is the Jayhawks’ all-time leader in shutouts with 21 and set the school record for shutouts in a season with 11 in 2003.
KU returns to action at 5 p.m. Friday against Wisconsin-Milwaukee at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.
