The waiting will soon be over.
Kansas University athletic department officials on Friday mailed more than 9,300 men’s basketball season tickets.
“They went out Fed Ex,” said associate athletic director Jim Marchiony. “People should start getting them Saturday or Monday.”
Marchiony said he expected Allen Fieldhouse to be sold out. “I’ll know for sure Monday,” he said. “My sense is that it will.”
Earlier this year, KU switched to a point system for assigning seats. Those who contribute the most to the athletic department’s Williams Fund will get the best seats.
