The attorney for Kansas University kick returner Greg Heaggans entered a not guilty plea on one count of driving under the influence for the 21-year-old athlete Friday in Douglas County District Court.
Heaggans was arrested Sept. 16 by the Kansas Highway Patrol and charged with DUI, his second such offense. He entered into a diversion agreement on a DUI charge in Wyandotte County in September of 2003.

Gregory W. Heaggans was booked into the Douglas County Jail at 3:50 a.m. Thursday after being arrested on suspicion of drunk driving by a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper.
