Oct. 12, 1968
Pepper Rogers’ Orange-Bowl bound Jayhawks top Nebraska, 23-13, in battle of top-10 teams at Lincoln, Neb.
Oct. 18, 1969
Nebraska’s 21-17 victory at Lincoln begins a 35-year trend.
Oct. 16, 1971
Top-ranked NU delivers a 55-0 pounding at Lincoln. The blowout is the first of 13 games in the streak with margins of 40 or more points.
Oct. 20, 1973
A missed extra point hampers No. 18 KU in a 10-9 loss to No. 11 Nebraska at Lincoln. KU won’t score another touchdown against the Huskers until 1977.
Oct. 19, 1974
No. 12 Nebraska hammers No. 13 KU, 56-0, at Lawrence. The Jayhawks lose their final five games, and coach Don Fambrough resigns when his contract isn’t extended.
Oct. 31, 1981
Bruce Kallmeyer sets a Big Eight Conference record and keeps it close with five field goals before Nebraska pulls away with two fourth-quarter touchdowns in a 31-15 victory. Nebraska wins the next 11 games by a combined score of 603-91.
Nov. 15, 1986
The series reaches its nadir when No. 6 Nebraska blanks KU 70-0 at Lawrence.
Nov. 6, 1993
Glen Mason’s team comes up short, 21-20, at Lawrence when KU fails on a two-point conversion with less than a minute remaining.
Oct. 30, 1999
In a televised night game at Memorial Stadium, Kansas leads 9-0 at halftime, and the game is tied at 17 in the fourth quarter before NU pulls out a 24-17 victory with 3:24 to go.
