? Only three teams have defeated Kansas University in soccer this season, all by 1-0 scores.

One of those teams was Texas, and the Jayhawks will meet the Longhorns today in the semifinals of the Big 12 Conference tournament at Blossom Soccer Complex.

First kick will be at 5 p.m. The game will be telecast live on Fox Sports Midwest (Sunflower Broadband Channel 36).

Less than two weeks ago, Texas needed two overtimes to edge Kansas in Austin, Texas. The Jayhawks’ other losses were at Illinois and to Nebraska. The latter was KU’s only home defeat.

The winner of tonight’s game between the top-seeded Jayhawks and No. 4 seed Texas will meet the winner of the other semifinal between Texas A&M and Colorado. A&M, the No. 2 seed, blanked Oklahoma State, 3-0, and the third-seeded Buffaloes edged Missouri, 2-1 in overtime, in Wednesday’s first round.

Kansas advanced with a 4-1 victory over Iowa State while Texas blanked Nebraska, 2-0.

The tournament championship game is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday.
