Former Kansas University football player Adrian Jones will have a July 15 court appearance on a charge of driving under the influence, municipal court prosecutor Tom Porter said Friday.
Jones was arrested early on the morning of May 8 on suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence. He later posted $500 bail and was released from Douglas County Jail.
Jones, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle who was a team captain last season, was the New York Jets’ fourth-round pick in last month’s NFL draft.
