Kansas University’s Kassie Humphreys mowed down Nebraska and Texas, and the Big 12 Conference couldn’t help but notice. Humphreys, a freshman from Glendale, Ariz., has been named the league’s softball pitcher of the week after handing Nebraska its first league defeat — a 3-0 shutout — and following with a 3-0 blanking of Texas.
