Kansas University broadcaster Max Falkenstien has been honored with the 2004 Curt Gowdy media award, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Monday. Falkenstien will receive the award during Enshrinement Weekend Sept. 9-11 in Springfield, Mass.
