Terrence Williams, a 6-foot-7 high school senior-to-be from Seattle’s Rainier Beach High, has decided to attend Louisville on a basketball scholarship.
Williams, who visited Kansas University last week, chose Louisville over Kansas and Indiana.
“It was a tough decision for me because my visit to Kansas earlier in the week left a big impression on me, but I just feel that Louisville is the best situation for me,” Williams told Shay Wildeboor of rivals.com.
KU, which has filled two of its scholarship offers, still is in the running for Tyler Hansbrough, 6-9 from Poplar Bluff, Mo., who is considering KU, North Carolina and Kentucky. The Jayhawks also will receive visits from Calvin Miles, 6-6 from Dallas, who is considering KU, North Carolina, Georgia Tech and others, plus Kevin Rogers, a 6-8 AAU teammate of Miles’, who has said he’d like to go to the same school as Miles.
