? Former Kansas University forward Nick Collison had a successful summer-league debut for the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday night.

The 6-foot-9 Collison, who had surgery on both shoulders last year and missed his entire rookie season, scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds in Seattle’s 72-66 loss to Chicago at the Rocky Mountain Review.

Collison, who started at forward, made four of seven shots, missing his only three-point try. He hit one of two free throws and had four turnovers with one assist in 22 minutes.

Former Jayhawk Kirk Hinrich is not playing for the Bulls’ summer team.
