Six Kansas University women’s sports teams posted grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester, the KU athletic department reported Wednesday.

Cross country posted the highest GPA at 3.41. The other five teams were soccer (3.00), rowing (3.10), golf (3.16), swimming (3.18) and track (3.22).

No KU men’s teams posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

During the fall semester, 209 student-athletes — or about 47 percent of those on active rosters — recorded a 3.0 GPA or higher. Thirty-two notched a perfect 4.0 average.

All will be recognized at halftime of the KU-Baylor men’s basketball game Feb. 18 at Allen Fieldhouse.
