KU tennis ends skid

? Kansas University earned its first victory of the tennis season Saturday, defeating Northern Arizona, 5-2, at the UNLV Spring Invitational.

Kansas (1-5) won all three doubles matches, earning the doubles point.

In singles play, senior Emily Haylock picked up her third straight victory as she defeated Jean Willman, 6-4, 6-4, at the No. 1 spot. Senior Courtney Steinbock, freshman Brittany Brown and sophomore Christine Skoda followed with victories, giving Amy Hall her first career victory as head coach.

Kansas will play Boston College for fifth place at 11 a.m. CST today.
