Kansas swimmers finish third at league

? Kansas University’s swimming and diving team finished in third place Saturday at the Big 12 Conference Championships. The Jayhawks’ score of 503 was 83 points more than fourth-place Nebraska.

The final day was highlighted by two school records. Gina Gnatzig finished the 200 backstroke in fourth place in a time of 1:59.80. The 400 freestyle relay team consisting of Amy Gruber, Ashley Dower, Kim Bolin and Gnatzig placed third at 3:22.39 and broke the previous school record.
