Ex-Jayhawk questionable for Titans

By J-W Staff Reports     Dec 18, 2004

Former Kansas University football player Justin Hartwig, now the starting center for the Tennessee Titans, is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.

Hartwig, a 6-foot-4, 305-pound third-year pro, suffered a serious laceration to his ring finger in the third quarter of Monday’s 49-38 loss at Kansas City.

Hartwig, a sixth-round draft choice of the Titans in 2002, suffered nerve damage and underwent surgery. The former Jayhawk has started 29 straight games.
