Undrafted and unsigned by the NFL, former Kansas University quarterback Bill Whittemore will have a tryout with Edmonton of the Canadian Football League this weekend in Cincinnati. Whittemore passed for 2,385 yards and a school record 18 touchdowns during his senior season and helped the Jayhawks make their first bowl appearance since 1995.
