Former Kansas University football player Harold McClendon was arrested for domestic battery Tuesday night, according to the Douglas County Jail booking log.
McClendon, 23, a senior, was booked into jail about 11 p.m. after being arrested by a KU Public Safety Officer. He also was booked for misdemeanor criminal damage to property.
McClendon, who was a senior running back last year, was released from jail at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday because no charges were filed by the district attorney, the jail log showed.
McClendon also was arrested in December and February for domestic battery and damage to property.
