Jayhawks even spring soccer record

Kansas University’s soccer team evened its spring record at 2-2 with two victories Saturday at SuperTarget Field. The Jayhawks topped the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, 4-1, and the Southwest Missouri State Bears, 2-1.

Kansas led Tulsa 2-1 at halftime on goals by Jessica Smith and Caroline Smith, and Lauren Williams and Caroline Smith each scored in the second half.

Against SMS, Caroline Smith scored her third goal of the day, giving KU a 1-0 halftime lead. Jessica Smith scored the game-winner in the second half.
