Malik Hairston, a 6-foot-6 high school senior guard from Detroit’s Renaissance High, will meet with Kansas coach Bill Self and coaches of his other finalists this week.
Hairston’s dad told Shay Wildeboor of rivals.com that “Kansas will be one of the schools to meet with us. We plan to have a decision in the next five to seven days.”
His other finalists are believed to be UCLA and Michigan and perhaps Ohio State. The month-long late signing period starts April 14.
