Dozen readers whack Woodling

By J-W Staff Reports     Sep 29, 2003

After being beaten by just one KUsports.com reader in last week’s Wanna Whack Woodling contest, Journal-World sports editor Chuck Woodling was beaten by 12 participants this week.

Woodling went 4-1, missing only Pittsburgh’s victory over Texas A&M. A dozen entries had all five games chosen correctly, though, led by this week’s winner — Gerald Tinnon of Manhattan. Tinnon chose KU as a 31-17 winner over Missouri, giving him the tiebreaker advantage and a “We Whacked Woodling” T-shirt for the victory.

Sixty KUsports.com readers tied Woodling with four correct picks.

Be sure to log on to KUsports.com Wednesday for another chance to whack Woodling.
