A.J. Ratliff, a 6-foot-2 high school basketball guard from Indianapolis who once had Kansas University on his list of possible colleges, has committed to Indiana.
“It’s close to home, and it’s Indiana basketball. I have a great relationship with coach (Mike) Davis, and I’ve always known in my heart that Indiana was the place for me,” Ratliff told the Indianapolis Star.
Meanwhile, A.J. Price of Amityville, N.Y., who recently visited Kansas, visited Syracuse Saturday and watched the Orangemen receive their national-title rings at halftime of the Syracuse-Louisville football game at the Carrier Dome.
“The ceremony was real nice,” Price, a 6-1 guard from Amityville High, told the Syracuse News-Standard. “It makes you kind of want to come here.”
He still will visit Connecticut, Florida State and St. John’s before making a decision.
