Huskers hammer Jayhawks in volleyball

Nebraska ended Kansas University’s four-match winning streak with a 3-0 win Wednesday over the Jayhawks at the NU Coliseum.

The 10th-ranked Huskers won, 30-22, 30-21, 30-21.

Josi Lima and Lindsey Morris led the Jayhawks (18-10 overall, 10-7 Big 12 Conference) with 10 kills apiece.

Nebraska improved to 24-4, 15-3. Nebraska is 33-0 against Kansas in Lincoln.

Andi Rozum had 29 assists, and Abbie Jacobson led the KU defense with seven digs. Libero Jill Dorsey added five digs, and Lima added four blocks in the loss.

KU will play host to No. 21 Texas A&M Saturday. Match time is 7 p.m. at Horejsi Center.
