Journal-World sports editor Chuck Woodling put together a 5-1 record in last week’s Wanna Whack Woodling contest, missing Texas’ victory over Oklahoma State.
Thirty-one entries had 6-0 records, though, including the week’s winner — Don Everett of Salina. All of those perfect participants expected a higher-scoring game between Kansas University and Nebraska, but Everett predicted: NU 31, KU 10.
Everett will receive a We Whacked Woodling T-shirt for his victory.
