Marc D’Errico, a member of KU’s men’s bowling club team, has been named the recipient of the 2003 American Bowling Congress Chuck Hall Star of Tomorrow Award.
The award recognizes achievements in a male high school or college student who competes in bowling. Award winners receive a $1,250 scholarship, which is renewable for three years for a total of $5,000.
D’Errico, who was was named the team’s most valuable player in 2002 and was rookie of the year in 2001, will be presented with the award Thursday during the ABC’s convention in Knoxville, Tenn.
