Four Jayhawks scored in double figures, including reserve Michael Lee, helping give Kansas a 102-50 victory over UNC-Asheville.
Nick Collison has 20 points and seven rebounds for the Jayhawks, Wayne Simien scored 19 points and grabbed nine boards, Keith Langford scored 18 and Michael Lee had 11 points.
Langford had 14 of his 18 points in the first half, including three vicious slam dunks and two irregular three-pointers.
Kirk Hinrich had seven points, nine assists and five steals for Kansas (8-3). Aaron Miles scored seven points and dished out nine assists.
Six reserves besides Lee scored for the Jayhawks, including Jeff Hawkins with six points on two three-pointers. Stephen Vinson scored five points, including his first collegiate three-pointer. Jeff Graves added three points and six rebounds in 19 minutes, and Moulaye Niang, Brett Olson and Christian Moody each scored two points.
Kansas shot 62.3 percent overall (43-of-69), including 44.4 percent (8-of-18) from beyond the three-point arc. UNC-Asheville (3-7) shot just 31.2 percent (20-of-64) from the field. The Bulldogs turned the ball over 26 times, while the Jayhawks had just seven turnovers.
Alex Kragel led the Bulldogs with 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting, including seven three-pointers.
