KU swimmers, divers finish fourth

? Kansas finished four at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship, its highest placing since 2000. The Jayhawks finished with a score of 471.5, and Texas won the meet with 1,031 points.

Kansas coach Clark Campbell was named coach of the meet, an award voted on by the other conference coaches.

The best individual finish of the day by a Jayhawk was Gina Gnatzig’s third-place finish in the 200 backstroke. She set a school record with a time
of 2:01.05.
