Despite trailing Oklahoma by as many as 32 points in a 77-70 loss Sunday in Norman, Okla., the Jayhawks dropped just one spot in the latest AP Top 25.
Kansas (20-6) fell from No. 6 to No. 7 after Sunday’s defeat, while the Sooners (19-4) jumped from No. 5 to No. 3, behind top-ranked Arizona and Kentucky.
Texas (18-5) swapped places with Oklahoma, dropping from No. 3 to No. 5 after a loss to Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla. No. 16 Oklahoma State (20-5) is the only other ranked Big 12 team, though Missouri and Colorado also received votes.
The rest of the top 10 includes No. 4 Florida (22-4), No. 6 Duke (19-4), No. 8 Pittsburgh (19-4), No. 9 Notre Dame (21-5) and No. 10 Marquette (20-4).
