Steven Hill, a 6-foot-11, 240-pound junior center from Branson, Mo., has orally committed to Arkansas over Kansas and Missouri.
Hill, who has averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks, visited all three schools within the past two months.
“After three great visits in January, Steven took several weeks to think about the visits, each program, the coaches and players,” said Troy Hill, Steven’s dad. “Once he stepped back and thought about all of this, he felt that Arkansas would be the best fit for him and was the most comfortable with coach (Stan) Heath, his staff and players.
“Steven could not have made a wrong decision in this process based on the high-quality choices he had. It was certainly a tough decision to make, but one that he is very comfortable with and excited about. As his parents, we also feel the same way about Steven’s decision.”
