KU drops 6 spots in AP poll

Kansas dropped out of the top 10 in The Associated Press men’s college basketball poll following the team’s 75-61 loss to Nevada Sunday night.

KU is now No. 12 behind Missouri (10) and St. Joseph’s (11). The Jayhawks started the season ranked No. 1 in the poll. KU’s record is 6-2.

The top three spots went to Connecticut, Kentucky and Duke, There was no change in the top three from last week. Georgia Tech is now ranked fourth, followed by Arizona, Stanford, Oklahoma, Wake Forest and North Carolina.

The Jayhawks’ next basketball game is Dec. 29 against unranked Binghamton at Allen Fieldhouse.
