Denver ? Crystal Kemp collected 21 points and eight rebounds to power Kansas University’s women’s basketball team to a 71-52 rout Saturday of Texas-Arlington at the Denver Wells Fargo Tournament.
It was the Jayhawks’ fifth straight win, their longest winning streak since Jan. 26-Feb. 10, 2000.
Kansas (5-2) forced 17 first-half turnovers and held UTA to 19 first-half points
KU freshman Lauren Ervin added 14 points, and Blair Waltz chipped in 10.
Kansas will face Denver — a 76-69 overtime victor over Lafayette in Saturday’s other game — at 3 p.m. today.
